Create, Cook, Talk Homemade Pizza

Chantai and Kailee are back in the kitchen — and this episode is all about homemade pizza! They’re joined by longtime family friend and special guest Tommy Montalbano, who brings years of pizza-making experience.
Together, they whip up a delicious, crowd-pleasing pizza using:
✨ Ingredients:
- Fresh pizza dough – available at Publix or your local pizza shop (let it come to room temperature before rolling!)
- Pizza stone – helps create a crispy, evenly cooked crust (preheat it with your oven to 450°F)
- Flour – for your work surface and rolling pin to prevent sticking
- Sauce – we used Rao’s marinara for its rich, homemade flavor
- Cheese – a combo of shredded mozzarella and an Italian blend (provolone, romano, parmesan, asiago)
- Toppings – we went with pepperoni and mushrooms, but the possibilities are endless

👨🍳 Directions:
Roll the dough: Use a floured surface and rolling pin, pressing out air bubbles as you go. Stretch evenly — not too thick!
Transfer to a floured pizza peel or cutting board (so it slides easily onto the stone).
Sauce it: Use a ladle and spread sauce in circles from the center out.
Add cheese: Sprinkle evenly using your fingers — not too heavy so the crust still shines.
Top it: Add your favorite toppings (we used pepperoni + mushrooms).
Bake: Carefully slide the pizza onto the hot stone and bake for ~15 minutes or until golden and bubbly.
Slice & enjoy!
It’s a great recipe to make with kids or friends — simple ingredients, easy steps, and restaurant-quality results. 🍽️
