Grilled Turkey Burger Recipe
🍔 Ingredients (Yields 6–8 burgers):
- 2-3 lbs ground turkey
- 1 packet Lipton Onion Soup Mix (or your favorite dry onion soup mix)
- 1 egg
- 1½ teaspoons kosher salt
- 2 teaspoons Worcestershire sauce
- 2–3 garlic cloves, minced
Tip: This recipe can easily be halved if you’re cooking for fewer people.
Grilled Turkey Burger Instructions
1. Mix the Ingredients
In a large bowl, combine ground turkey, onion soup mix, egg, salt, Worcestershire sauce, and minced garlic.
Wearing gloves can make this process a little cleaner—especially if you’re cooking with kids. Use your hands (or a fork) to blend everything evenly, making sure the seasoning is fully incorporated into the meat.
2. Form the Patties
Shape the mixture into patties of equal size to ensure even grilling. Flatten slightly—thicker than a meatball, but not too dense. You should get around 6–8 patties depending on size.
3. Preheat the Grill
Heat your grill to about 350°F. This should take a few minutes depending on your grill type.
Clean and oil the grates lightly to prevent sticking.
4. Grill the Burgers
Place all the patties on the grill. Cook for 6–7 minutes per side, or until the internal temperature reaches 165°F and the juices run clear when pressed.
5. Serve and Enjoy
Serve on toasted buns or sandwich thins (a healthier option), and top with your favorite burger fixings—lettuce, tomato, pickles, or avocado all pair perfectly with the turkey’s mild flavor.
Make It a Father’s Day Tradition
Whether you’re a seasoned griller or a first-timer, this turkey burger recipe is a great excuse to fire up the barbecue and make memories. Invite the kids into the kitchen, put on some music, and enjoy the process as much as the meal.
From our family to yours—Happy Father’s Day, and happy grilling!
