Our handsome cover model is Wade Michael Strite, 8, from Augusta, Ga. He loves to read and recently learned to jump rope.

Wade has Down syndrome and wants to be a doctor when he grows up….well, that or a monkey hanging in a tree! He has two older brothers: Randall, 16, and Christopher, 11.
