FACT – Our children are the most vulnerable!!! What Can We Do to Help them? Have you set rules or establish healthy boundaries for touch with your loved one with special needs? Why is this important? According to the world health organization, our children with mental or intellectual impairment are the most vulnerable. They are four times more likely to be sexually assaulted or a risk of sexual violence than their non-disabled peers.
