Question: I need to organize my sons room that has many medical supplies. I would love to see pictures of how others organize their child’s rooms.

Hale S. I have a 3×4 cubby system in front of his window and then have a 4×4 cubby system behind the door on the opposite wall. Each cubby holds a specific set of supplies. They work great for organization
• Candice K.These cubby type shelves are pretty inexpensive at IKEA. I love them in my kids room too. They have multiple bin type options that fit in them and also doors or drawer sets you can add with minimal handyman type skills.

Brittanie D. To all you ladies with those plastic drawers: Wanna jazz them up a bit? Simply cut cute wrapping paper to size and tape to the inside of the drawer front!

Valerie H. A friend of mine uses nice baskets on shelves that look nice and keep things organized. We organize our children’s supplies like that too.
Anna K. I had trach and button. Gtube supplies and kept it all in the closet, we got a 1 month supply at a time. His mist machine had a base to it that I stored tubing and trach masks in, kept trach string in kitchen I believe. That is where I did trach care at. I am sure this is not much help though..

Kari M. Because we spend a large amount of time in the living room. I got one of those storage automans to keep his meds & things we need frequently during the day, so we are not going back & forth. It also helps to keep things tidy looking in the living room area.
Kari M. His closet is a walk in one, its a pretty typical setup but it has built in bookshelves that I use for the rest of his supplies like diapers pads suction canisters etc…
Kari M. File cabnets found at a goodwill for .99cents each hold suction tubing and formula. Each drawer holds 2 boxes of formula. the mini fridge is a wine one with removable shelves for his juices & the nurses lunch. Cus if its in our fridge I can’t guarantee its safety. LOL
Noelle S. I keep all my special needs child’s medical supplies in our hallway closet, but we only need them every 6 months for a few weeks for surgery, not every day. I don’t have advice to offer, but best wishes!

Yvonne K. My son does not have medical supplies but “hording” issues. Last year I spent an entire weekend, while he was away and bagged everything up, went through it and threw 99% of it out. About to do it again. UUG
Kari M. Above our kitchen sink I have special shelves just for his neb kits & syringes to rinse & let air dry. They are lined with paper towels. & to the left a Kleenex box Velcroed up for the nurses paper towels. Which needs to be refilled. LOL
Tabitha M. Also so pantry rack on the door. Have extra shelfs in the closet , another 3 drawer shelf. Baskets help a lot. I have to be organized to keep me sane.
