You Don’t Need to Leave Your House to Have an Adventure

With all the craziness going on in the world around us, we figured it was time for some fun! Kids are home for the rest of the school year, and then, it’s summer break. That’s a lot of at-home time and chances are they are dying from boredom (of course, not literally) and starting to drive parents up a wall.

Well, not for long at least…

Many companies all over the world are participating in virtual tours/virtual field trips. Not only are they fun and educational, but they are also free! Best of all: They are disability friendly.

Imagine going on an expedition to the Galapagos Islands on the ship, Endeavor II, with National Geographic. Or taking a ride on some of Disney World’s coolest attractions all from the comfort of your home!

We are sharing some of our favorite tours from all over the world. Happy exploring!

If you’re more interested in what adventures you can have that involve water, check out “Life on the Bahamian Coral Reef.” Explore all the wildlife that is native to the reef and enjoy all the beauty the ocean has to offer.

You can also set sail on an expedition to the Galapagos Islands on the ship, Endeavor II, with National Geographic. This video tour dives into life on the cruise Ship Endeavor and all the stops they make along the way.

When the water gets too much, dry off with an African Safari and see a Giraffe up-close and personal!

Or maybe you’ve always wanted to travel to Australia, home to late Steve Irwin (the Crocodile Hunter). I know I have! Well, here is your chance to do it! Explore the Australia Zoo with Steve’s son, Robert, as he shows you all their amazing zoo friends!

These are just a few tours you can do, there is so much more to choose from. You can get a live look at the Mount St. Helens volcano, or walk through Egyptian pyramids and learn about the mummies and even observe polar bears in the tundra of Canada, all while being in the comfort of your home!

Thrills of Travel

What could be more fun than a virtual rollercoaster? Well, probably riding the real thing. But, while everything is still closed, try taking a virtual tour of one instead! Check out the fun thrills of Universal Studios and all the magic that Disney has to offer, with just a click of a link.
