Did you know that some of the world’s most creative and innovative people have ADHD or some type of learning disability?
Pablo Piccaso was born in 1881. Picasso’s father, who was an art teacher, noticed his budding artist early in life. At the age of 13, his father talked the art school into allowing him to take the advance placement test for admittance, they were indeed impressed with Piccaso. They could see he had talent, but, he lacked discipline. By the age of 16, he moved out on his own and into the country’s foremost art school. But it was not long before he was struggling with the formal instruction and left the school to study on his own. Over the course of his life he had many rocky relationships and friendships. Not only was he successful with art, but he also did films. He died in 1973, leaving behind 4 children – 3 of which are still alive.
