Merry Christmas from Soren, the cutest “elf on the shelf”!
Three years ago, we decided to make our 11 month-old son, S.J., our “Elf on the Shelf” in the hopes of spreading Christmas cheer and raising awareness of Down syndrome inclusion. This is our fourth year that our mischievous little “elf” has been putting a smile on people’s faces, as well as showing everyone just how fun people with Down syndrome can be.

He’s baaaaaaaaaaaaaack!
S.J. had a little difficulty finding our new house. We found him on top of our mailbox this morning, trying to figure out which one was ours!
This morning we found our little elf doing yoga in front of the fireplace. He must be trying to work off all the cookies that seem to go missing every night…
Caption: We found our elf “hanging out” under our kitchen table reading Christmas books this morning. I think he was still a little too tired to get into any mischief last night, thank goodness!
After being on the go ALL day today, we came home to find our elf has been sick and just hanging out and resting up all day. Hope you feel better tomorrow S.J.!)

This morning we found our helpful little elf doing laundry! Now our Christmas-y candy cane blanket is all nice and clean.
After enjoying all four main food groups of the elves yesterday, we found our little elf brushing his teeth this morning! …with daddy’s toothbrush.
This morning we found our elf in the kitchen making up his own menu for the week on our menu board! Silly elf.
This morning we caught our elf red-handed having some fun with the fruit bowl. Apparently, S.J. likes bananas! And yes, those bananas are minions.
