Did You Know Camp Inspire Gives Hot Air Balloon Rides?

Camp Inspire [1]

Camp Inspire to Give Hot Air Balloon Rides

Camp Inspire, a camp specifically for ventilator-dependent children, has a six day, five night camp designed for children and teens with complex medical conditions. Many have tracheostomies, ventilators, and BiPAP machines to assist them. This year, camp participants will get a bird’s-eye view of the campus with hot air balloon rides. The basket of the hot air balloon will be adapted to accommodate the children’s medical supports. The hot air balloon rides will be at 8 a.m., July 19, weather permitting.

Sibshops [5]

Sibshops- Sibling Support

Sibshops are pedal-to-themetal events where schoolage brothers and sisters of kids with special needs meet other sibs (usually for the first time), have fun, laugh, talk about the good and not-sogood parts of having a sib with special needs, play some great games, learn something about the services their brothers and sister receive, and have some more fun!

There are over 300 Sibshops in almost every state and in eight countries.

Wheelchair option for its Xbox avatars [11]

Microsoft is adding a wheelchair option for its Xbox avatars

Microsoft is adding wheelchair options for its Xbox avatars, as well as what look like some visual tweaks. Phil Spencer, the company’s Xbox head, confirmed that the wheelchair additions were not “far off,” after responding to a question on the subject on Twitter. The facial features of the two avatars also appear to be more detailed than those of previous models. Microsoft first introduced its avatars on the Xbox 360 in 2008.
