Simply Inspiring!
I wanted to share this photo that my son, Ben Nicholas, took of the lunar eclipse on 9/27/15. Ben is 13 and has autism. He has never had a photography lesson or used a camera before (except the low-resolution ones on his iPad and phone) and took this photo without using a tripod. The photo has not been cropped and is completely unedited. He took it using my Nikon Coolpix (30x zoom). I tried taking photos before handing him the camera, but mine were all a blurry mess and did not capture the detail or color of the shadow on the moon. Ben played with my camera for a bit, trying out the many different settings before he was able to capture this image. I was shocked and amazed at how beautiful his photo came out!

Video Explantion: Rare ‘Super-Harvest Blood Moon’ That Shined On September 27, 2015.
The moon will pass into Earth’s shadow producing a total lunar eclipse during the “Supermoon” – a time when the full moon occurs “at or near its closest approach to Earth in a given orbit,” according to NASA. Because this full moon happens on the night of the autumnal equinox (9-27-2015), it is also known as the Harvest Moon.
