A new mandate in Texas says that Special Ed Classrooms will get cameras. The cameras are intended to ensure the safety of students with disabilities in classrooms where they spend more than half their school day. Each video recording system retains six months of recordings. If an injury incident is suspected, a district-level committee, which would include a special education director and a behavior specialist trained in appropriate restraint measures, would view the recording

College or Technical Scholarship available

There are two $1000 scholarships available that can be used at any college or technical school, anywhere in the United States. The only requirement is that the applicant has been diagnosed with Down syndrome.
