Threshold Program: This issue’s cover features a student enrolled in Lesley University’s (Cambridge, Ma.) Threshold Program. This is a two-year, college-based program for young adults with diverse learning differences. The program offers dorm living, student activities, and a curriculum focused on career training and independent living to create a college experience that feels both authentic and supported. The program can enroll 24 students per year in the two- year core program for a total of about 50 students. The Bridge and Transition Programs can enroll about 20 students in total. The alumni Center supports almost 700 alumni worldwide. all graduates of Threshold use the alumni center for job and housing support as well as for ongoing social connections.
