I have the BEST HERO!

Her name is Cindy, she runs Pheonix Farms "Horses for the handicapped" in Ft. Pierce, Florida. Her farm is filled with so much enrichment for our special children. My son, Trevor, rides and performs occupational therapy and physical therapy while doing so. It just has helped him in so many ways. Cindy is so wonderful with our kids. She truly loves them, and it shows. The horses: Bubbles, Dakota, Tommy, Charlotte, Charkol, Gagatli, Gekla and Moira, are so wonderful with the kids and the kids just adore them. Along with the horses are Chip and Joshua the therapy pigs, Dax the therapy dog, La Bamba the donkey and several ducks. Our kids get to do all of the duties that involve riding a horse. This includes brushing, saddling, hosing them down and feeding.

Cindy makes it so much fun for the kids that they can't wait until their next lesson. I have seen huge changes in my son. It liberates them and helps them with self-confidence and social skills. Cindy is the hero because she puts our kids first, and takes so much of her time to make it a better world for our special children.
