School Psychologists Adam Moro, Amy Reale, Erin Cassidy, Speech Pathologist Alison Sekora, and Guidance Counselor Adrienne Nagy will lead a practical presentation on best practices in communicating with teenage children with special needs about puberty, relationships, and their developing bodies and minds. This workshop will focus on the gap between physical development and cognitive & emotional development often seen in children with special needs, and how to address these changes in a developmentally sensitive manner.
