| \"New in 2010, this marks the fourth event in the Wine Country Half Marathon Series produced by Destination Races. Experience the warmth and charm of the Willamette Valley on Labor Day weekend when the weather is ideal and the vines are full and ready for harvest. This scenic course meanders through the heart of the valley, beginning at magnificent Stoller Winery and finishing in the town of Carlton for the popular post-race Wine & Music Festival. Less than an hour south of Portland, this area is dotted with small towns, orchards, Christmas tree farms, vineyards, ranches, and is home to over 200 wineries. The Willamette Valley is recognized as one of the finest Pinot Noir producing regions in the world. | |
