Bios Dr. Kari Miller PhD, BCET, Educational Therapist and Director Dr. Miller is a Board
Certified Educational Therapist and Director of Miller Educational Excellence.
The Miller Educational Excellence mission is to bring about unlimited
possibilities for underachieving students by guiding them to discover their
true brilliance and use it to change their lives. She has mentored special
needs students for almost twenty-five years, working with students in a vast
array of capacities, including special education teacher, educational
therapist, and university instructor. Dr. Miller has a PhD in
Educational Psychology and Mathematical Statistics, a master’s degree in
Learning Disabilities, Gifted Education and Educational Diagnosis, and a
bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education and Behavior Disorders. Her guiding philosophy is
that “You live what you believe in!”
She guides students, parents and colleagues to identify their strengths
and to mobilize their belief systems to make profound changes in their lives. She encourages each parent, student and
associate with whom she interacts to develop academic success as a habit of
belief. Dr. Miller guides her staff
to understand the power of the Educational Excellence perspective. She believes that holding the view of
students as powerful learners is the key to their self-transformation. Empowered students believe in their
ability to succeed. They understand the degree of control they have in their
educational experience. They see themselves as the most important factor in
their own success. They know they
are destined to achieve their dreams. Website: http://millereducationalexcellence.com E-mail: |
